A Green Thumb in Your Home
As most of you already know, I am a huge supporter when it comes to house plants. As you may already see on my Instagram page, the first thing you may stumble upon is my plants that I have around my room. But in case for some reason the memo hasn't been said clearly, let me be a lot louder here! I have an 'addiction' to house plants. Although mentally house plants have been one of my go-to habits to help my mentality, it's also such a nice addition to have in any space of your home.

Personally house plants truly make your space come to life even more. The addition of greenery in your home, especially during the spring and summer season, could truly help make your space an even more inviting area. Not only that, but if people see your plants around your home, doing well, it gives a good first impression of the responsible person you are! Trust me, I've seen a lot of people who think of that when they see your house plants in your space.

I know trying to own your first plants can be somewhat nerve wrecking. The idea of wanting to see your plants thrive, but you don't know the proper care, yet, on how you make sure your plants or being watered sufficiently, and you're not either over or underwatering it. Not only that, but the products you may need to buy to help maintain your plants, such as, chunky soil, neem oil, plant pots, pole stand, etc....
But to help get you started with plants that are hard to kill, in my opinion, here are two plants that I personally think you should start off with.
Number One: Snake Plants
Snake Plants are very popular to have either in your home or outside. I've seen plenty of snake plants around whenever to go to the mall or the supermarket just so I can see them either grown in the ground soil or just being sold at the supermarket. I can't blame the popularity. Snake plants need very little water. They can thrive being not watered for up to a month! Therefore, if you live in a household that loves to conserve water, I highly recommend this plant as a starter!
Number Two: ZZ Plant
Another plant that you should definitely have is a ZZ Plant. Just like the Snake Plant, the ZZ Plants, only needs to be watered at least once a month. They sprout very fast and are a nice plant to have around your house. In my Asian culture, ZZ Plant is commonly known as a money plant to bring fortune to your life. Therefore, if you have go to a Asian owned restaurant, you may most likely see a ZZ Plant there!
I hope you take into consideration in trying to have plants in your home. Personally, I recommend it with the positive mentality it brings. If you do plan on branching out to other plants that require more maintaining down the road, I highly suggest you do research first before purchasing. One place that I always go to when it comes to learning about plants that I'm interested in is TikTok. TikTok is a very useful place to hear people point of view in what they do to care for their plants.
Without further ado, I'll let you go now and hope to see those beautiful plants in your space. Happy planting! :)
